One of the most difficult things for David to adjust to when we started to change our diet was our DRASTIC reduction of sugar intake. We strive to eliminate processed sugar and basically only use honey and stevia as sweeteners. I’ve found some great recipes that use almond flour (ground almond meal from Trader Joes works great.) I use almond meal because it’s lower glycemic (doesn’t cause blood sugar spikes) than regular flour. Also, it’s higher in protein content! Here are some of my favorite recipes from around the web.
